Susan Gorman, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Susan Gorman joined Capital Ob/Gyn after 16 years in private practice in Bend, Oregon. She loves Northern California and is a graduate from UC Davis. She attended Medical School at Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and did her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Los Angeles County-USC.
Dr. Gorman has participated in several research projects. She has published articles and presented papers at scientific meetings. Her focus of research includes studies of smoking women and use of oral contraceptives, minimally invasive treatments for treatment of heavy periods and in-office procedures. She also has advanced training in performing minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the Pacific Coast Ob/Gyn Society and American College of Obstetricians Gynecologists.
Dr. Gorman is an Ob/Gyn because she is compassionate about women’s health care and the patients she treats. “Every patient has a story and a problem and my goal is to listen and help solve the issue that brings the patient in that day.”
Dr. Gorman is equally passionate about her family—she has 5 children that she is extremely proud of and keeps busy with their activities. She is also an avid swimmer.
